Gimmie Games is seeking a Junior Game Designer with programming skills to join our Game Design team. Junior Game Designers both simulate and prove that our gaming concepts are viable in a casino environment. At Gimmie Games, our games utilize novel features that require imagination to invent and intelligence to analyze. As a Junior Game Designer, you will work closely with the other Game Designers to complete your game design projects. Further, we expect that your talent and expertise will extend beyond your assigned tasks and allow you to contribute to all stages of game design from concept to final product.

The Junior Game Designer position is full-time, immediately available and on-site at our Decatur, GA office.

Responsibilities
  • Design game rules, reel strips, pay tables and bonus games.
  • Analyze game pay frequency, volatility and other parameters.
  • Code game simulations and perform theoretical proofs.
  • Provide guidance for Engineering/Art/QA teams on game math related joint efforts.
  • Write up game rules, pay profiles, and math summaries prior for formal submission.
  • Join in concept brainstorming sessions.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Mathematics or related field.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Deep understanding of probability.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Working knowledge with C/C++.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Previous casino game experience is a big plus.

Digital Project Manager

Gimmie Games is seeking a Digital Project Manager who will act as a product owner and production manager for the Gimmie Games digital portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Operations and Engineering, the Digital Project Manager will be responsible for managing the development cycle with our artists, animators, technical artists, engineers, QA specialists and external parties from conception to regulatory approval. Additionally, the Digital Project Manager will help design an optimal portfolio strategy and support the Operations team to improve the overall efficiency of the organization.

The Digital Project Manager position is full-time, immediately available and on-site at our Decatur, GA office.

Responsibilities
  • Manage product plans, schedules and resources to ensure committed milestones and delivery dates are met.
  • Participate in game and feature design sessions with Game Design team.
  • Provide team members with details and requirements for all conceptualized products.
  • Identify, communicate and resolve problem areas and risks in the production cycle and schedules.
  • Monitor health of a project, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated, performing adequately and designing the product as intended.
  • As a key member of the Operations team, this role will be tasked with developing new protocol and processes to improve efficiency within the production and testing cycles.
  • Organize weekly meetings with team to review the status of products in production and in testing.
  • Manage communication with third parties, including licensors, external stakeholders and partnering design groups.
  • Generally, support Operational team on a variety of projects and tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or related field.
  • 7+ years of project management experience required.
  • Casino gaming experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, and other project management and QA tools.

Gimmie Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst who will be responsible for ensuring our product meets the established standards of quality including design, performance, and functionality. The Quality Assurance Analyst will report to the Project Manager, Engineering and QA.

Responsibilities
  • Draft quality assurance documentations per proper procedure.
  • Interpret and execute quality assurance process.
  • Devise testing procedures for recording and reporting quality issues.
  • Plan, conduct, and monitor testing of game to ensure finished product reaches set quality levels.
  • Document internal reviews and other quality assurance activities.
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.

Social Casino Art Manager

Gimmie Games is seeking a Social Casino Art Manager who will build, oversee and direct a fully functioning Art team focused on developing social casino products. The Art Manager will directly manage a team of approximately eight members across the United States and India, ranging from junior to senior and of varying roles including, illustrator, animator, project manager and other support roles. On a tactical level, the Art Manager will be in charge of the daily operations, schedule and deliverables of the Digital Art team. The position requires a person who will lead, inspire and motivate a group of talented team members to deliver exceptional product on an aggressive schedule. The Art Manager will collaborate with company leadership to drive the direction of our continually expanding digital strategy.

The Digital Project Manager position is full-time, immediately available and on-site at our Decatur, GA office.

Frequent travel is required to India, London, Oakland(CA), and Seattle(WA).

Requirements
  • Proven industry leading experience in social or land-based casino environments.
  • Exceptional commercial portfolio that showcases an advanced understanding of design and animation principals.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
  • Experience in managing several teams across multiple products.
  • Experience directing illustrators, animators and other staff.
  • Experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience in all areas of the product life cycle including pre-production, development, and testing.
  • Excellent project management and planning skills.
  • Solid communication skills including verbal, written and visual.
  • Ability to eloquently and passionately present to large teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of game development including various engines, tools, source control and more. Experience working closely with Heads of Development, Marketing and Product.
  • Knowledge of Jira and Perforce version control software a plus.
  • Must be eligible to travel regularly.
